Matthew “Okwy” Enekwe moved to the United States in 2003 where he was admitted to Old Dominion University (Go Monarchs!). It was there that he found his talent for numbers perfectly aligned in the accounting world and earned him a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. With a lifelong passion for business and a desire to grow deeper in his profession, he proceeded to the University of Maryland, University College for a master’s degree. There, he dual majored in Business Administration and Accounting and graduated with an MBA and a MA in Accounting. After completion of his educational studies, Mr. Enekwe went further to attain a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) License. While in graduate school Mr. Enekwe founded Crystal Star Associates, LLC using the educational tools and professional experiences gained as an accounting associate and a business consultant. Through subsequent years he has built Crystal Star Associates into a reputable boutique accounting and management firm that continues to thrive.
